Welcome Jim to the team!

Jim Wright is joining the Howard Tech team as a Support Engineer. He’s coming from Motorola Solutions, Inc. with lots of hands-on experience. In his job he was responsible for the maintenance, repair, upgrade, replacement and software support of all IT equipment including servers, laptops, desktops, printers and phone systems for five shop locations. Previously he worked at Teltronic for 42 years. He looks forward to working in a ‘family’ team atmosphere and would like to pursue Security+ certification.

He began his electronics career while in High School and enjoyed working in the field. Jim is most proud of his family and raising 3 wonderful children who have grown up to be responsible and loving adults. He has a Shih Tzu named Yoshi. Jim’s favorite sports team is the Miami Dolphins and he enjoys bowling and Rv’ing. His favorite band is Rush and he can’t live without bacon. The app/gadget that makes his life easier is the text-to-voiceapp for driving.

Jim brings wonderful talents and a calming presence to Howard Tech. We are happy to welcome Jim to our HTA family!
