Meet Jamie Our New Service Coordinator

Jamie started a month ago with Howard Tech and you might have had the pleasure of interacting with her already. Jamie is our ‘front line’ team member who assists clients and end users with service tickets and issues. She has been training with several other HTA team members to learn all our different processes and systems. Jamie’s made amazing strides her first few weeks here! Her friendly personality, professional attitude and her willingness to learn and serve are valuable assets to our team and clients.

During the interview process, Jamie interacted with multiple Howard Tech employees and felt an overall great team vibe. Jamie believes that technology is an important part of our daily lives (especially in 2020), and looks forward to learning more about our industry.

Jamie and family moved to Maryland (from Michigan) in May, so has survived the challenge of finding a home, getting settled and finding a new job.  As a former preacher’s kid and current military spouse, she’s lived in 9 different states and looks forward to setting down roots in Maryland. She is excited for fresh seafood!

In her down time, Jamie is a huge bookworm and reads anything from Stephen King to J.K. Rowling. She also enjoys spending time outside, so her screened-in deck comes in handy! Some of her hobbies include watching movies, walking outside, and dancing. Her favorite shows and music are Bosch or Superstore, The Stand, Tombstone, Blade, or The Princess Bride and Prince. Her favorite sports team is Average Joe’s, from the Dodge Ball movie.

Jamie comes to HTA with an approachable attitude and a wealth of customer service experience. Our team has enjoyed welcoming her and getting to know her this past month. We are excited to have our clients and end users interact with her too.
