In July, Howard Tech welcomed Danielle as the Director of Managed Services. She has hit the ground running bringing with her a new perspective and energy! In her position, Danielle oversees the service delivery team, ensuring top notch customer service and technology recommendations for our clients.
Danielle previously worked as the Director of Federal Contracts supporting the Dept. of Health and Human Services for Connecture, Inc. Her ability to engage and interact with key personnel, vendors, end users and partners provide a solid background for her role with Howard Tech. Her minor in English will be useful to tighten internal database documentation and communicate with clients and team members.
As we’ve gotten to know Danielle, she shared about an accomplishment that was life changing for her. She up and quit her IT job, rented out her home and moved to Chicago not knowing a single person. She did this all for a theatre job. Looking back on this experience – it helped to create the building blocks for the rest of her life both personally and professionally.
Danielle lives locally in Ellicott City with her family and several furry pet members. She enjoys watching her daughter play soccer and listening to her son’s band. During quarantine, she kept busy working on home projects, virtual schooling with her children, and enjoying some wine. One of her favorite mottos is “Don’t sweat the small stuff, unless it matters to someone you love.”
We already noticed that being part of the community and the Howard Tech team are important to Danielle. Within her first week at the office, she coordinated an ongoing food drive donation for the Columbia Community Care organization supporting local families during the corona virus pandemic. Howard Tech enjoys giving back locally so this fell right in line with our values and mission.
Danielle has already made an impact on our team, provided helpful guidance to our clients and is working on initiatives to help us serve better. She asks a lot of questions and has been a great listener. Her positive attitude and approachable personality are benefits that will help us serve our clients and end users.
