Howard Tech enjoys actively engaging in our community. With the pandemic protocols in place it’s proven difficult to get out and about to do some of these activities we love supporting. This month we were finally able to do just ‘a little bit’ of community ‘mask-to-mask’ time to participate in various causes and client events.
Once again, Howard Tech’s Sam’s Squad participated in the annual Every Step Counts Walk & 5K for Autism on Oct 3rd.
While COVID-19 created a new way of doing things this year, HTA members were able to run or walk in-person at the Centennial Park event site or virtually in their own neighborhood.
All of this was a joint effort to support the Howard County Autism Society, a cause near and dear to our heart.
HTA appreciates the kind generosity of our family, friends, and clients who have donated to our Sam’s Squad effort. Our team fundraising page is accepting donations through Oct 31st. We are hopeful next year’s event will be an in-person gathering to enjoy together!
Our golfing team members and friends were glad to get out onto the golf courses!
HTA participated at this year’s TEE IT UP for The Arc of Howard County’s event and at The Arc of Central Chesapeake’s event. What beautiful days to get outside, play golf and support our clients. Thank you to The Arc organizations for helping many people in need.
