    Ali joined Howard Tech just a couple of years after emigrating to the US from his native Iraq. He had studied computer science in Iraq and came to the US with no relationships or connections. Ali joined HTA as employee 5, and his hard work and tremendous friendliness made him an instant favorite. The HTA team celebrated his wedding, US citizenship and his first child. Ali will always be a part of the HTA team.

    I felt an immediate family connection at Howard Tech and my career really blossomed there.  I’m thankful for all I learned and am always eager to join HTA family events.

    Nick joined the IT world after 20 years in the printing business. He went to school at night and on weekends, while managing a job and growing family. Howard Tech was Nick's first technical job after completing his degree and he started in an entry-level role. Nick's desire to learn helped him grow quickly and he served in multiple positions at HTA during his tenure. Nick and family regularly join the HTA team at community events and happy hours.

    Howard Tech was the first company to give me a chance after graduating and it was a great learning environment for me.  I learned so much by working with many different customers and the experience helped me land my current position.

    Manny grew up in our local community of Columbia, MD, and was immediately drawn to the HTA mission of building community. His technical background was very solid, and he joined our team as a senior engineer. Manny is extremely friendly so our team members and customers absolutely loved him. His work ethic and desire to serve others is exceptional, and he led our service team before leaving HTA.

    I had a fantastic experience with HTA and feel like it really helped me advance my career.  My technical skills improved but I feel like I really grew in my ability to motivate and coach others.  I love staying in touch with the Howard Tech gang and will always be part of the family.

    Jessica joined Howard Tech as an Operations Assistant, mostly helping with quotes and purchasing for our clients. She was also completing her degree at night, while doing whatever she could to advance her career. Each year Jessica assumed more responsibilities at HTA and relatively soon she was managing our HR and bookkeeping functions. We were sad to see her go but she has a higher calling for her career at the moment.

    Howard Tech was a great learning environment for me and it was fun to be around motivated people.  I learned about technology, business and how to serve customers well.  I’m thankful for the lifelong friends I made through my time at HTA.
