Giving Back to Our Community: January 2017

Bowling Fundraiser for Community Action Council Logo

For the third year in a row, Howard Tech Advisors is excited to participate in the Bowling Fundraiser and Middle Eastern lunch buffet to benefit the Howard County Food Bank. The event will be held on Sunday, February 26th from Noon to 3 p.m. at the Brunswick Bowling Alley in Columbia, MD.  We encourage our clients and friends to join us at this family event (children are welcome)!

The goal is to raise $20,000 and collect 2,000 pounds of food.  If you are able to attend the event, please bring at least two cans/boxes of food per person.  Checks payable to the “Community Action Council” are also welcome in lieu of food donations.  Donations can be made on the day of the event thru a credit card as well.

If you are interested in joining, please feel free to email Michelle@howardtechadvisors.com by Friday, February 17th.

If you are not able to join us but would like to support our efforts, you are welcome to send a donation via check payable to the “Community Action Council” to the office address listed below or drop off any canned goods to the office below prior to February 26th.  Most needed items are baby food & formula; canned meat; canned tuna, salmon & sardines; dried or canned beans; hot and cold breakfast cereals; rice; pasta; peanut butter; canned fruits; canned corn; canned carrots; and canned soup.
